Terms of use

This is a translation: the Italian version is the one that applies.
The service
Geenuga offers tools for organising big decisions, used by you and your assistant. Geenuga Casa helps you search for and assess a home to buy or rent. The service is at an early stage: it may change and have interruptions.
What it isn't
- It isn't an estate agency and doesn't act as a broker: it doesn't represent sellers, doesn't negotiate and doesn't receive commissions.
- It isn't financial, legal or technical advice. Calculations, estimates and checks are pointers to help you decide better: for important decisions, talk to the bank, the notary or a surveyor.
- It doesn't guarantee that a listing is genuine or that a home is fully compliant: the scam checks flag problems, they don't certify anything.
Account and family
You're responsible for your account and for whoever you invite into the family. Members of the family see the same data. Each product is activated separately. Where there is one, the free trial can be used once per family: its length and limits are the ones shown in your account when you activate it. Geenuga may open to small groups at a time: in that case, people who sign up join a waiting list and are let in gradually.
Payments and subscriptions
- You buy paid plans from Polar (Polar Software, Inc.), which resells them as Merchant of Record: the seller is Polar, and invoices, VAT, payments, refunds and withdrawal go through Polar, under its terms for buyers. Your card details are handled by Polar (with Stripe) and never reach Geenuga.
- Geenuga decides what each plan includes and manages access: the product is activated when Polar confirms the payment to us. The price, length and renewal of each plan are the ones shown before you pay.
- A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it. You can cancel it whenever you like from your account: it stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for, and then you don't pay anything more.
- A fixed-term purchase is paid once and ends on its own; if you buy another, the months are added together.
- When a period ends, your data stays put: the product stops and starts again as soon as you reactivate it. If you delete your account, subscriptions are cancelled straight away.
- Right of withdrawal: you keep the rights the law gives you as a consumer, including 14 days from purchase to change your mind. The service starts straight away, at your request. Refunds and withdrawal are handled by Polar, in line with the law and its terms: you can ask Polar, or write to us at supporto@geenuga.com and we'll help.
Your assistant
By connecting Claude, ChatGPT or another assistant, you allow it to read and write your family's data as your assistant. What it does on third-party sites (portals, banks) it does with your browser and on your behalf: use it in line with those sites' rules. You can disconnect it whenever you like.
Fair use
Don't use Geenuga for illegal activities, to collect other people's data or to put the service under strain. There are limits per family (homes, storage, changes per minute) and we may suspend an account that gets round them.
Liability
We do our best to keep your data safe and the calculations right, but, within the limits of the law, we're not liable for indirect damage or for decisions made on the basis of the service. Your data stays yours and you can download it from your account.
Contact and governing law
For anything at all: supporto@geenuga.com. Italian law applies; this doesn't affect the rights the law gives consumers.
